Run For A Cure – Kick AS

Ankylosing spondylitis, or AS, is a form of arthritis that primarily affects the spine. People with AS experience inflammation of the spinal joints, leading to excruciating, chronic pain and discomfort. AS can also lead to inflammation, pain and stiffness in other areas of the body such as the hips, shoulders, ribs, heels, hands and feet.

Team Run For A Cure – Kick AS, started by Isabel in Belgium, is raising funds and awareness about AS and that research is the key to a cure. Support the Kick AS team by making a donation or by signing up by clicking “Fundraise, Join This Team.”

A few of the Kick AS team races coming up:

    • Urban Trail: 15 March 2015
    • Antwerp 10 miles: 26 April 2015
    • Wings For Life World Run: 3 May 2015
    • The McBride Run Ypres (Half Marathon): 7 June 2015.

*Note: You can still race any race in your area and be part of the team!
